31 Knitted Sweaters Challenge-#2

This crocheted warm weather top is made from the Gedifra yarn "Satata". It has cotton and polyamide fibers which are braided into an interesting texture. I used a plain double crochet and then added the flower motif in the front to echo the pattern in the pants fabric.

The off-white undertop is made from a linen knit----too flimsy to wear alone but perfect with it's breathability for underneath.  The pants are cotton, made from a basic Vogue pattern, using a Burda crotch line.

  4. Your crochet top is really cute! I like the way you layer over a sewn top. Makes me want to get out my dusty crochet hooks now.

  5. Your sweater is really pretty and goes so well with the rest of your outfit.I can't even imagine crocheting a whole top. It took me two years to crochet a doily many years ago. I never picked up another crochet hook after that.Lol!

  6. I love all your outfits...they are so happy looking. My favorite is the "Satata" one. I wish I had a closet full of tees like your purple one-so cool and airy looking. What pattern is that? You have made me interested in crocheting but every time I try it hurts my arthritic hands. I can knit without pain. It must be the range of motion required for crochet that hurts so much. I am looking forward to your pictures from the convention. Have a great time!
